HELPERG: Practical Software for Work, Documents and Digital Operations
A map of the HELPERG ecosystem behind Global City Intelligence: which product fits which everyday job, which company operates each one, and how to read their store listings.
If you have used Global City Intelligence, you have used a HELPERG product: GCI’s own privacy page names HELPERG LLC as the company that operates it. That relationship is why this guide, and the eight product guides it links to, open with a disclosure. It is also why this one is written as a map rather than a profile. The useful questions for a reader are practical ones: which of these products fits the job in front of you, which company you are dealing with when you use it, and how much of a store listing to take at face value.
HELPERG in its own words
HELPERG’s website presents HELPERG LLC as a software company, with the headline “Software Infrastructure for Modern Digital Operations” and a promise of “reliable software, practical applications, and technical resources”. Its about page puts the idea more simply: “HELPERG is an ecosystem, not a single product”, in which each tool is meant to solve one real problem well.
The products page describes the catalogue as “the websites, platforms and mobile apps of the HELPERG ecosystem — built and operated by HELPERG and its affiliated companies”. The site also runs a data service of its own, HELPERG Data, which offers weather data from MET Norway and economic data from official sources through a public JSON API that, the home page says, needs no credential.
Who operates what
The word “HELPERG” covers more than one company, and the difference matters when you buy a subscription or ask what happens to your data. HELPERG’s ecosystem page makes the same point: it says HELPERG LLC operates some properties directly while others are “part of the ecosystem but are operated by a different company”, and it names each property’s operator “where it is established”. It does not list the apps or the PDF Edit & Convert website covered in this series, and for six of its sites, Global City Intelligence among them, it gives the operator as “Not established from first-party sources”. The page says it was last verified on 6 September 2026; Global City Intelligence’s own privacy page, prepared on 9 September, names HELPERG LLC.
- HELPERG LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, currently operates WebmasterID according to WebmasterID’s privacy policy, and operates Cash Workspace according to that site’s own footer. It is also the developer and seller of the FAX app on the App Store, and the company named in Global City Intelligence’s privacy page.
- hrhelperg s.r.o., a company with its registered office in Prague, is the seller on the App Store for the ZIP extractor, Smart Printer, the PDF Editor app, Invoice Maker and Pocket Manager, each of which shows HRHELPERG LLC as its developer name. It also operates the PDF Edit & Convert website, according to that site’s privacy policy. HELPERG’s ecosystem page, describing it as the operator of another product, calls it “a separate legal entity from HELPERG LLC”.
HELPERG’s own catalogue does not always draw the same line. Its product page for the ZIP extractor, for example, gives HELPERG LLC as the publisher, while the App Store names hrhelperg s.r.o. as the seller. On the App Store, a subscription is charged to what the ZIP extractor’s listing calls your “iTunes Account” and is managed in that account’s settings. The listing’s seller line names the company that sells the app, and the app’s privacy policy names the company responsible for your data; for the ZIP extractor both are hrhelperg s.r.o., not the HELPERG LLC shown in the catalogue.
Start with the job, not the brand
Each of the following has its own guide in this series. Platforms are as HELPERG’s products page lists them.
- Understand what your website’s visitors, and AI assistants, are doing. WebmasterID, a web analytics product. Guide to WebmasterID.
- Keep a freelance business’s invoices, expenses and documents ready for an accountant. Cash Workspace, a web workspace. Guide to Cash Workspace.
- Send a client an invoice from your phone. Invoice Maker, for iOS and Android. Guide to Invoice Maker.
- Track your own everyday spending. Pocket Manager, for iOS and Android. Guide to Pocket Manager.
- Edit, combine, convert, sign or shrink a PDF. PDF Edit & Convert, a website plus apps for iOS and Android. Guide to PDF Edit & Convert.
- Print or scan a document from your phone. Smart Printer, for iOS and Android. Guide to Smart Printer.
- Answer a request for a fax. FAX: send from phone, for iOS and Android. Guide to the FAX app.
- Open a RAR, 7z or ZIP archive on your phone. HELPERG’s archive extractor, for iOS and Android. Guide to the ZIP and RAR extractor.
The catalogue lists more than these, including the TwinPhone calling service and a CV Builder app, which this series does not cover.
What the products share, and what they do not
The products point to each other, and two of them share more than links. Cash Workspace’s home page lists WebmasterID and Pocket Manager among “other tools from HELPERG LLC”, although the App Store names hrhelperg s.r.o. as Pocket Manager’s seller. WebmasterID’s pricing page says Cash Workspace is “included with every paid plan”, with a “single workspace identity” and “no additional sign-up”.
Beyond that bundle, none of the official pages or store listings checked for this series describes one account across HELPERG products, or your invoices, budgets or documents moving automatically from one app to another. The data the pages do describe passing between products is visit measurement and weather lookups: the PDF Edit & Convert website says it uses WebmasterID to count page visits, Global City Intelligence’s privacy page says it does the same when a visitor allows it, and Cash Workspace says it sends coordinates to HELPERG’s weather service. Apart from the WebmasterID and Cash Workspace bundle, expect to sign up for, subscribe to and export from each product separately.
How to read a HELPERG store listing
Checking these listings for this series turned up four patterns worth knowing before you install anything:
- “Free” describes the download, not every feature. The ZIP extractor’s iPhone listing marks extracting and creating archives as Premium. Both PDF Editor listings place editing text, converting files, scanning and signing in the Pro version. Read the in-app purchase list and the Premium or Pro labels, not just the price on the button.
- Text is sometimes copied between stores. Smart Printer’s Google Play listing, an Android listing, describes printing “directly from your iPhone”. Treat a listing’s claims as applying to the platform they plainly describe.
- Privacy labels are the developer’s own declarations. For the ZIP extractor, Google Play’s data-safety section says no data is collected or shared, the App Store label says usage data may be used to track you, and the privacy policy lists advertising and analytics services among its processors. When they disagree, read the privacy policy.
- Check the seller. The developer name on the App Store and the company that sells you a subscription are not always the same, as the section above shows.
What this series is, and is not
These are company guides to products from the ecosystem that Global City Intelligence belongs to. They describe each product only from its official pages, store listings and policies, they say where those sources disagree, and they set out limits as well as strengths. None of them is a hands-on test or an independent review, and none should be read as one.
