Vinohrady Theatre
The Vinohrady Theatre is a repertory theatre on Namesti Miru in Prague's Vinohrady, opened in 1907 to designs by Alois Censky. It is a protected cultural monument and remains in use as a producing theatre.
Also known as Divadlo na Vinohradech.

Why it matters
The theatre and the neo-Gothic church opposite were built within a decade of each other as the two anchors of a new square, which is why Namesti Miru has two monumental buildings facing off across it and little else of that scale.

Good for
- Date night — A working repertory theatre on a square served directly by the metro, rather than a venue in the tourist centre.
