Prague Castle is a walled complex above the Vltava containing St Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St George's Basilica and Golden Lane. Founded in the ninth century, it is the seat of the President of the Czech Republic.

The Loreta in Prague's Hradcany is a Baroque pilgrimage complex begun in 1626 around a replica of the Holy House of Loreto, with a cloister, a church and a carillon of 27 bells installed in 1694.
